Cover Stitch Project Class: Pencil Case with Zipper & Pockets (Part 2)
This class is Part 2 of our Serger Project Class: Carry-All Bag series and is designed as the perfect companion project. While Part 1 focuses on creating the bag using your serger, this class completes the set with a coordinating pencil case made on your cover stitch machine.
Have you learned techniques on your machine but never had the chance to really use them? This class is a great way to put those skills into action in a fun, practical project.
In this hands-on session, you’ll create a stylish and functional pencil case designed to fit inside your carry-all bag, or to use on its own.
Techniques you’ll learn:
- Inserting a zipper using a cover stitch machine
- Creating a two-pocket design using vinyl and mesh
- Applying bias tape using a binder attachment
This class is all about building confidence and expanding your skills while making something useful and creative. It’s a great opportunity to explore the full potential of your cover stitch machine.
