Serger Pillow Techniques Class

Ready to put your serger skills to work? This is a great follow-up class for anyone who has completed Serger Level 1 or 2 and wants to apply their skills to a fun, practical project!

In this technique-based class, you’ll make two pillows while building confidence with your serger. Learn how to create and attach piping, insert a zipper, and piece fabric using your serger with an accurate ¼" seam allowance.

In this class, you will learn to:

• Create and attach piping for a professional pillow finish.
• Insert a zipper using your serger.
• Piece fabric using your serger.
• Achieve an accurate ¼" seam allowance for precise piecing.

Pattern & Kit Fees:

• Paper pattern: $8, payable to the instructor.
• Optional book containing 9 patterns: $40, payable to the instructor.

Class Preparation:
Please ensure all fabric and supplies are purchased and cut to the required sizes before class. Check the supply list carefully and make sure you have the appropriate presser feet for your serger.

You’ll leave class with two finished pillows and new techniques to use in future serger projects!
