Serger Level 4 – 5-Thread Serging
Take your serging skills further with Serger Level 4, a hands-on class focused on mastering 5-thread serging and the straight double chain stitch. This level is ideal for students who want to expand the versatility of their serger and work confidently with heavier or loosely woven fabrics such as denim, drapery fabrics, and medium-weight wovens.
You’ll learn how to set up your machine for both 5-thread safety stitching and chain stitching, troubleshoot tension issues, and apply these stitches to practical sewing techniques including topstitching, basting, hemming, and decorative applications.

Machine Requirements
A serger capable of 5-thread stitching and chain stitch operation, in good working condition.

Skill Level: Confident beginner to intermediate. Completion of Serger Levels 1–3 (or equivalent experience) recommended.
