Meet Canada's National Sewing Educator – Claire Haillot

We're honoured to welcome Claire Haillot, SVP Worldwide Canada's full-time National Educator, for this special event. Having Claire teach in both our Surrey and Chilliwack stores is a rare opportunity for sewing enthusiasts of every skill level.

Claire discovered her passion for textile arts in 1998 and turned that passion into a full-time career by opening her own quilt shop in 2004. She quickly became known for making advanced quilting and sewing techniques easy to understand, helping countless makers build their confidence and creativity.

An award-winning quilter, Claire has earned top honours across North America, including Best of Show awards at the prestigious Chicago and Houston Quilt Festivals, as well as awards at the Vermont Quilt Festival. She is also a published pattern designer whose work has appeared in Canadian Quilter, Quilter's World, and Pratique du Patchwork.

Today, Claire travels throughout Canada as SVP Worldwide Canada's full-time National Educator, teaching and inspiring sewists on the latest innovations from PFAFF®, Husqvarna® VIKING®, and SINGER®. Her expertise spans sewing, quilting, embroidery, specialty presser feet, and creative software, and her engaging, hands-on teaching style makes every class educational, entertaining, and inspiring.
