The PFAFF® Circular Attachment is the perfect tool for creating unique embellishments on sewing projects, garments, and quilts. Sew simple circles, flowers, or sections of circles to create one-of-a-kind borders, decorative designs, and graphic patterns.
Create circles ranging from 2.5" to 10.25" (6–26 cm) in diameter, along with unique shapes that aren't possible with many traditional circular attachments.
Create Unique Shapes
Use the Circular Attachment to create a variety of decorative shapes and designs, including:
- Tulips, leaves, and hearts in several different sizes
- Circles, flowers, and partial-circle designs
- Large-scale appliqués and decorative designs using built-in stitches
- Unique borders and graphic patterns
The attachment includes three easy-to-use templates, with markings and full instructions to help you create the featured designs.

Stitch Compatibility:
Almost all utility and decorative stitches can be used with the Circular Attachment. Stitches with a default width wider than 9 mm and stitches with backward feeding cannot be used.
Tips for Best Results
For easier fabric control and better results, use an extension table or quilter's table when sewing with the Circular Attachment. Shorter stitch lengths make it easier to create a smoothly joined circle. As you approach the end of the circle, slow the sewing speed and adjust the stitch length if needed to close the gap neatly.
Create Appliqués
The Circular Attachment can also be used to create appliqués. Use non-fraying fabric or create raw-edge appliqués. You can stitch the appliqué in place with a straight stitch, trim away the excess fabric, and finish the raw edges with a satin stitch.
When working with multiple layers of fabric, guide the fabric carefully to ensure all layers feed together evenly.
