PFAFF® Tear-A-Way Wide Stabilizer – 20 Inches x 10 Yards
PFAFF® Tear-A-Way 821399096 is a crisp, medium-weight tear-away stabilizer that provides reliable support for machine embroidery and tears away easily after stitching. Its crisp construction allows for clean removal with little residue around the edges of the embroidery.
When to Use
Use Tear-A-Way as a backing stabilizer for machine embroidery. Use 1–2 layers, depending on the stitch count and fill density of the design. The wide 20" format is ideal for larger embroidery projects and hoops.
How to Use
- Cut the stabilizer to fit the selected hoop, allowing at least 1" beyond the hoop on all sides.
- Place the stabilizer on the wrong side of the fabric.
- Hoop the fabric and stabilizer together, pulling both equally taut.
- Stitch the embroidery design.
- Remove the project from the hoop and tear away the excess stabilizer.
