PFAFF® Tear-A-Way is a crisp, medium-weight tear-away stabilizer that provides reliable support for machine embroidery while making removal quick and easy. Its crisp construction tears cleanly and leaves little residue around the edges of the embroidery.
When to Use
Use Tear-A-Way as a backing stabilizer for embroidery when you want easy removal after stitching. Use 1–2 layers, depending on the stitch count and fill density of the design.
It is a versatile choice for embroidery projects where the stabilizer needs to be removed cleanly without leaving excess material around the stitches.
How to Use
- Cut the stabilizer large enough to fit the selected hoop.
- Place the stabilizer on the wrong side of the fabric and hoop together.
- Embroider the design.
- Remove the fabric and stabilizer from the hoop.
- Gently tear away the excess stabilizer from around the embroidery, tearing away from the stitches.
