Create Quick, Professional Rolled Hems
The PFAFF® 3mm Rolled Hem Foot makes it easy to create a neat, durable rolled hem on light to medium weight fabrics without pre-ironing the fabric edge. A great time-saver for garments, home décor and other sewing projects.

How to Use
- Select a straight stitch, attach the Rolled Hem Foot and engage the IDT™ System if applicable.
- If needed, press the beginning of the hem to approximately 4mm wide.
- Place the fabric edge in the groove under the foot and sew a few stitches.
- Lower the needle into the fabric and raise the presser foot.
- Pull the cut edge of the fabric into the scroll of the hemmer.
- Lower the presser foot and continue sewing while holding the fabric edge up in front of the foot.
- Keep the fabric from running under the right half of the presser foot.
Tip: Use a straight stitch for crisp fabrics. For soft fabrics, use a zigzag stitch that just encloses the width of the hem. Sharply curved areas are not recommended for this type of hemmer.
