Perfect for Precision Topstitching & Trim

The PFAFF® Narrow Edge Foot makes precision topstitching easy and is also ideal for attaching lace, trim, or decorative edges to finished fabric. The center guide helps keep your fabric and trim properly positioned, giving you greater control for accurate, professional-looking results.

How to Use – Narrow Edge Topstitching

1. Set the machine for a zigzag or decorative stitch. Needle position will vary depending on the desired stitching position.
2. Place the center guide of the presser foot against the fabric edge.
3. Move the needle to the desired left position and begin topstitching.

Lace & Edge Joining

Position the lace or finished fabric edges on either side of the center guide of the foot. Join the edges using a zigzag or decorative stitch.

Sewing Lace to Fabric

Place the folded or pressed edge of the fabric to the left of the center guide and the finished edge of the lace to the right. Position both the fabric and lace right side up under the foot. The center guide keeps the two materials properly separated for precise stitching.

Select a zigzag stitch and sew, catching both the edge of the fabric and the lace. Adjust the stitch width and length as desired.
