How to Use

Thread your sewing machine with regular sewing thread or decorative thread in the needle and regular sewing thread in the bobbin.

Select a straight stitch, zigzag stitch or suitable decorative stitch. Avoid side-motion stitches or stitches with excessive forward and backward movement.

Feed the decorative trim through the opening at the front of the foot and into the guiding groove underneath.

Attach the Decorative Trim Foot to your sewing machine.

Engage the IDT™ System.

Sew slowly and carefully, allowing the foot to guide the trim evenly along your fabric. Use stabilizer underneath the fabric if additional support is needed.
Helpful Tip: When working with 6 mm wide trims, try using a 6 mm twin needle with a straight stitch to sew along both edges of the trim simultaneously. Always verify twin-needle clearance and machine compatibility before sewing.
