PFAFF® Clear 1/4" Right Guide Foot for IDT™ System

Excellent Visibility & Perfect 1/4" Seams

Achieve precise 1/4" seams with the PFAFF® Clear 1/4" Right Guide Foot. Designed for piecing, quilting and topstitching, this clear presser foot provides excellent visibility while the right-side guide helps you maintain a consistent 1/4" seam allowance.

Simply guide the edge of your fabric along the guide for accurate, even seams. The distance between the needle and the right guide is exactly 1/4", making it ideal for quilting projects, patchwork, garments and home décor.

The clear design makes it easy to see your fabric, stitching and seam line while you sew, giving you greater control and accuracy.

How to Use

Piecing:
Snap on the Clear 1/4" Right Guide Foot, engage the IDT™ system and select a straight stitch. Place your fabric right sides together and guide the fabric edge along the right-side guide as you sew.

Topstitching:
Use the guide to maintain a consistent 1/4" distance from the edge of your fabric or quilt block. The foot can be used with a straight stitch, triple straight stitch or hand-look quilting stitch.

Note: When using a 1/4" Right Guide Foot with the IDT™ system on a machine with a manual presser foot lift, avoid raising the presser foot to the extra-high position. When pivoting with the needle in the down position, lift the presser foot only as much as needed to turn the fabric freely.
