PFAFF® Tear-A-Way Sticky Stabilizer – 12 Inches x 10 Yards
PFAFF® Tear-A-Way Sticky is an adhesive-surfaced tear-away stabilizer that securely holds fabric and other items in place for machine embroidery. The strong tacky surface eliminates the need to hoop the fabric, making it especially useful for small, thick, or difficult-to-hoop items.
When to Use
Use Tear-A-Way Sticky for:
- Small items that are too small to hoop
- Heavy fabrics that are difficult to hoop, such as canvas, denim, leather, and thick vinyl
- Hats, purse straps, belts, collars, cuffs, and pant legs
- Unevenly shaped items that don't fit easily in a hoop
How to Use
- Cut the stabilizer at least 1" larger than the selected hoop.
- Place it on a flat surface with the paper-covered adhesive side facing up.
- Lightly score the paper diagonally from corner to corner, then repeat to form an “X.” Do not cut through the adhesive.
- Peel back the paper to expose the adhesive.
- Place the outer hoop ring over the exposed adhesive. The inner hoop is not required.
- Position the wrong side of the fabric onto the adhesive in the desired embroidery area. The fabric can be repositioned with only a slight loss of adhesive tack.
