Easily Sew On Buttons of All Sizes
Make sewing buttons quick and easy with the PFAFF® Sew-On Button Foot. Designed to securely hold buttons in place while stitching, it works with buttons of various sizes and can also be used to create a button shank.

How to Use
- Mark the button placement on your fabric.
- Attach the Sew-On Button Foot and lower the feed dogs.
- Place the button between the black metal piece and presser foot, positioning the two holes in the foot's opening.
- Place the fabric under the foot and select the button sew-on stitch or a zigzag stitch.
- Adjust the stitch width to match the buttonholes. Turn the hand wheel manually to ensure the needle enters the left hole safely.
- Sew across the button. When using the button sew-on stitch, the machine will automatically tie off. With a zigzag stitch, sew across the button approximately five times.
To Create a Button Shank:
Push the plastic piece on the presser foot forward so it sits between the buttonholes. Sew the button in place, then move the plastic piece back, remove the button and cut the threads. Wrap sewing thread around the stitches to create the shank and tie securely.
