Soft, Non-Woven Stabilizer for Permanent Stability

PFAFF® Cut-A-Way™ Stabilizer is a soft, non-woven stabilizer with a strong, even consistency that provides permanent support for embroidery. It is especially well suited for dense embroidery designs with a high stitch count and helps prevent fabric from shifting or stretching during stitching.

Ideal for medium- to heavy-weight woven fabrics as well as unstable fabrics such as knits, denim, linen, and open-weave fabrics.

How to Use

1. Cut a piece of Cut-A-Way™ Stabilizer large enough for your selected hoop, allowing at least 1" extra on all four sides.
2. Hoop the stabilizer and fabric together without stretching the fabric.
3. Stitch the embroidery design.
4. Trim the excess stabilizer as close to the outer edge of the embroidery as possible.
5. Follow the normal washing and drying instructions for the fabric.
6. Press with a medium-heat iron.
