The Pfaff Open Toe Free Motion Foot is designed for smooth, controlled free-motion sewing, making it ideal for quilting, stippling, and free-motion embroidery. The open toe design provides excellent visibility of the needle area, allowing for greater accuracy when stitching detailed designs.
This foot allows you to move the fabric freely in any direction while maintaining even, consistent stitches. A great accessory for creative sewing, it gives you full control over stitch length and direction when the feed dogs are lowered.
How to Use
- Disengage the IDT™ system if your machine is equipped with it
- Remove the presser foot holder
- Attach the Open Toe Free Motion Foot to the presser foot bar, ensuring the pin rests on the needle clamp screw
- Press the foot firmly into place and tighten the screw
- Lower the feed dogs
- Select a straight stitch
- Guide the fabric manually while sewing at a steady speed
