Life is Better in Full Bloom
Life Is Better in Full Bloom
If you’ve completed our 4-part Machine Embroidery (EMB) class and are ready to start a new project while learning additional skills, this class is for you! Life Is Better in Full Bloom is a 22" x 22" pillow that focuses on one of the fastest-growing areas in machine embroidery: creating projects using a block-by-block construction method.
In this hands-on class, you’ll create a simple yet beautiful block-by-block pillow project. Along the way, you’ll learn essential techniques including paper piecing and appliqué, as well as explore different materials and methods for successful appliqué. We’ll also cover background quilting options within the embroidery process.
Once the blocks are complete, you’ll learn how to accurately cut them for proper alignment, then assemble and stitch them together to finish the project. This class is designed to build confidence and skills you can apply to many future embroidery projects.
Hoop Requirements:
- 5" x 7" (or equivalent) hoop required for block construction
- 6" x 10" (or larger) hoop required if you wish to include background quilting
