Easily gather fabric or gather and attach a ruffle in a single step with this specialized foot. Designed for light to medium-weight fabrics, it simplifies ruffling while sewing. Use with a straight stitch (left needle position) and adjust the stitch length between 3 and 6—the longer the stitch length, the fuller the gathers. Perfect for creating beautiful ruffles and decorative fabric accents with ease.

How to Use: To Gather Fabric:

1. Attach the Foot Snap on the Gathering Foot.
2. Position the Fabric Place the fabric under the presser foot.
3. Sew and Adjust for More Gathers Sew with a straight stitch and increase the upper thread tension to create tighter gathers as needed.

To Gather and Attach Fabric in One Step:

1. Position the Fabrics Place the fabric to be gathered under the presser foot right side up.
   Position the flat fabric (the one receiving the ruffle) right side down in the groove of the foot.
2. Sew the Fabrics Together Guide the bottom fabric through the machine, but do not hold it back.
   Keep the top fabric aligned in the groove and move it steadily as needed.
3. Adjust for More Gathers Increase the stitch length, upper thread tension, and presser foot pressure for a fuller, more gathered effect.

This foot makes it easy to create beautiful, even gathers and attaches ruffles in one simple step.
