Machine Embroidery Exploration Club

Join us for a monthly, seminar-style gathering of machine embroidery enthusiasts where creativity, technique, and inspiration come together!
This club is designed for embroiderers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced stitchers, who want to grow their skills, explore new techniques, and connect with others who share their passion.

Please note: This is a seminar-based club, not an in-class sewing or stitching session. Instruction, demonstrations, discussion, and inspiration are the focus, you’ll complete your embroidery projects at home.

Each month, we will:

• Review and discuss the current block from the Kimberbell Mistletoe Mystery
• Explore a featured machine embroidery technique, such as:
  • Using specialty mediums (mesh, vinyl, cork, and more)
  • Free-standing lace
  • Cutwork
  • Embroidered borders
  • Appliqué in-the-hoop
• Share ongoing projects, successes, and challenges
• Collaborate as a group to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and spark creative ideas

Mistletoe Mystery Participation:

• Participation in the Kimberbell Mistletoe Mystery quilt is not required to join or enjoy the club.
• If you choose to participate, you may join the Mistletoe Mystery at any time, making it easy to jump in when you’re ready.

Designs & Supplies:
While a free design will not be provided, we will showcase embroidery designs and products available for purchase through our affiliate partners, offering inspiration and trusted resources to use at home.

This is a welcoming, supportive environment where members learn from one another, exchange ideas, and build confidence in their machine embroidery skills. Whether you’re exploring new materials, refining techniques, or simply looking for creative community, you’ll find encouragement and inspiration here.

All skill levels are welcome—no experience required.

 There is no fee for Embroidery club, pattern fees may apply.  If you purchase the Kimberbell Mystery block, the blocks will show in your Kimberbell account. Once purchased all Kimberbell Club Patterns are downloaded from Kimberbell's website.  By purchasing a design you are giving Tom's Sewing Centre permission to give Kimberbell your email address.
